Fall Workshop 2026 - Kalispell
For the first time ever, MDAA goes to Kalispell! We are ready for a fantastic Fall Workshop in an incredible Western Montana setting! We are looking forward to the energy, inspiration, and fuel for our artistry!
Learn from incredible guest instructors, meet stellar local faculty, perform in the Showcase, mingle at the Opening Ceremony, try new dance styles, and even bring your choreography to the Donna Jewell Choreography Prize. Directors, Teachers, and Teaching Assistants will also enjoy the Opening Ceremony, share and learn at the Professional Membership Meeting, and take part in the workshop “Tips for Helping Students with Special Needs Succeed in Dance.”
We thank Barbara Otey and Marisa Roth for doing a fabulous job managing all the details.

A Note from the Workshop Directors
After 60 years, MDAA is finally in Kalispell, and we're excited to welcome you to our beautiful Flathead Valley! With an amazing line up of guest faculty, and all our Level 1, and specialty teachers local to the Valley, it's going to be a wonderful weekend of classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Floorwork, Tap, Body Percussion, Hip Hop, Grooves & Freestyle, Irish, AfroFusion, Salsa, Cheer, and more!
New this year, our Friday morning Opening Ceremony will feature a welcome, the usual orientation, an introduction to our guest teachers, and some prizes and giveaways. We invite ALL workshop participants to join in the festivities to start the kickoff of a spectacular weekend!
